In an absolutely classic fashion, it only took me half of January to get my shit together and write this post. Nevertheless, I arrived at this wonderful place of organisation, motivation and excitement for the new year and there are a couple of things that go with that.
As I explained in my update post, last year I struggled with keeping up with my TBR and reading in general. A lot was happening in my life and I got overwhelmed. Although that didn’t stop me from buying more books. Also, the FairyLoot box kept coming and the number of unread books on my shelves was seriously stressing me out.
So I cancelled my FairyLoot subscription, banned myself from buying books and tackled that ancient list of books I need to read. I also banned myself from reading any sequels.
This proved to be a very successful approach and I read some books that have been sitting on my shelf for years. There are still some left, so let me introduce to you my TBR 2019 which I divided into two sections:
